The Recruitment Process

Before a candidate can be registered with Bliss, an extensive screening and interview process is conducted. Only candidates who meet the competencies and personal characteristics expected of the industry are registered and will be put forward for client introductions.

Our screening and interview process includes:

  • Conducting face-to-face interviews with all candidates (prior to client introductions).
  • Conducting a 100+ point proprietary assessment exclusive to SMP.
  • Sighting all listed qualifications, police clearances, first aid and manual handling certificates.
  • Checking references.
  • Assessing behavioural and attitudinal responses through scenario testing. We also alleviate much of the secondary and often time consuming tasks associated with recruiting, including;
  • Fielding candidates for suitability prior to conducting face to face interviews.
  • Liaising with candidates during and post the recruitment process.
  • Providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Sending acknowledgement and thank you letters.
