From time to time SMP Training Centre will hold short courses on specialist topics.  Details of such courses will be listed here as they are scheduled. 

HOW TO ENROL

Please download the Short Course Enrolment Form by clicking on the icon below.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open these files.  If you do not have this program, Click Here to download it free.  Once you have completed the enrolment form, post it with a cheque/money order/credit card details for the full cost of the course.  Alternatively, please come into our Training Centre to complete an Enrolment Pack.  We really enjoy meeting our course participants prior to commencing their course so we can give you all the information you need so that you can start your course without any worries.

Course Name:  Manual Handing

Times:  10.00am - 3.00pm

Course Description:  Theory and practical related to safely moving people and object in line with current legislation and practice. Certificate of Completion issued at end of sessions.  Extremely limited positions available.  A certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the session.

Course Name:  Mandatory Reporting

Times:  6.00 pm -8.00 pm

Course Description:  With the current and past trends of media reporting on maltreatment, courses such as this have been set up to educate the community on issues related to abuse and neglect.  This course touches on both child and elder abuse.  A certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the session.
